The Thai Tribal Crafts’ Fair Trade

Since 1973, we promote and demand Fair Trade in Thailand and all over the world.

Propped by Christian foundation, our aim is to improve northern tribes’ way of life. Thanks of Fair Trade, their incomes are more regular and the fairest as possible. We give them development opportunities. However, their ways of life are improved and their handicraft is well-preserved.

We have over 25 years of experience of exporting to many commercial and fair trade organizations (USA, Europe, East Europe, Asia).

Since 2002, we are members of the WFTO (World Fair Trade organization), we have to respect:

-          Clearness of the activities

-          Ethical and respect partnership

-          Gender equality

-          Secure a sustainable production

-          Cultural identity respected

-          Secure people education

-          Best work conditions

-          Secure fair deals

From producers to customers, thanks to that fair chain, trade exchanges are secured.

“Fair Trade is a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect. That seeks greater equity in international trade. It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers – especially in the South.

Fair Trade organizations (backed by consumers) are engaged actively in supporting producers, awareness raising and in campaigning for changes in the rules and practice of conventional international trade.”
