WFTO Asia Interns visit Fair Trade Chiang Mai

It was sunny and wonderful day to spend time together with two interns from WFTO Asia. Some of the main purposes of this visit include learning more about artisans and fair trade situation in Chiang Mai. As the visit was only one day, we couldn't cover as much as we want but we trust that the interns had good experiences by visiting two artisans and the family from finishing group in Chiang Mai and lunch break at Lanna Cafe where we shared FLO label and current situation of Fair Trade. The visit was ended by visiting main Fair Trade shop, discussion with Fair Trade staff and a bit of shopping :-). More photos >>>

Visiting Akha Fair Trade producers in nothern Thailand

Time to time, Thai Tribal Crafts Fair Trade visits the producers in different villages in northern Thailand and visitors are welcome to join. In many cases, the Fair Trade artisan group is selected by visitors and arrange before the actual date.
