WFTO Asia Interns visit Fair Trade Chiang Mai

It was sunny and wonderful day to spend time together with two interns from WFTO Asia. Some of the main purposes of this visit include learning more about artisans and fair trade situation in Chiang Mai. As the visit was only one day, we couldn't cover as much as we want but we trust that the interns had good experiences by visiting two artisans and the family from finishing group in Chiang Mai and lunch break at Lanna Cafe where we shared FLO label and current situation of Fair Trade. The visit was ended by visiting main Fair Trade shop, discussion with Fair Trade staff and a bit of shopping :-). More photos >>>

Fair Trade hammock producers with BIG smiles, Chiang Mai - Thailand

We have been exporting and supplying fair trade hammocks to local and overseas markets. But many consumers, including some of our hammock buyers have not seen this great photo with big smiles. The two ladies belong to Mae Muang Noi group, Lahu hill tribes and today, we are proud to present to you.
